Stud advertising is a different job from puppy advertising.
A puppy advert is aimed at a family who will read photographs and a temperament description and make a decision with their heart. A stud advert is aimed at a breeder who will read a health panel, check your pedigree against their dam for overlap, and make a decision with a spreadsheet. The same listing format cannot serve both, which is why the classified sites are bad at the second one.
So the stud directory is breeder-facing and structured around the data a breeder actually filters on. And because KennelBoss already holds your sire’s colour genetics and pedigree lines, the advert is a view of the record rather than a second copy of it that goes stale the moment you test him for something new.

How much does stud dog advertising cost?+
$5 per stud, for 90 days. It is charged once when you publish and it does not auto-renew — when the 90 days are up the listing drops out of the directory until you publish it again. Every plan includes access to the directory, including Per Puppy at $9.99 a puppy.
Who can see my stud listing?+
Two audiences. The directory search inside KennelBoss is visible to every authenticated breeder on the platform, which crosses kennel boundaries deliberately — that is what makes it a directory. Your sire also gets a public page on your breeder profile, which anyone can reach and search engines can index.
Do you take a percentage of the stud fee?+
No. The $5 is the entire charge. What you agree with the other breeder — the fee, a puppy back, a repeat service — is between the two of you and never passes through KennelBoss.
What should a stud dog advert include?+
The things a breeder decides on: full health testing with results and dates, colour genetics, the pedigree far enough back to check for overlap with their dam, his weight and height, proven litters if he has them, your stud fee and terms, and photographs in daylight showing his structure rather than his face. Missing health testing is the single most common reason a stud enquiry never gets sent.
Can I list a stud without a subscription?+
Yes. The stud directory is available on Per Puppy, which has no subscription at all — you pay $9.99 when you publish a puppy and $5 when you publish a stud, and nothing when you do neither.
How long does the listing stay up?+
90 days from the day it is published. It comes down automatically after that rather than quietly charging you again, which means a directory of studs that are actually still available.
