Buyer financing

Let them pay for the puppy over time.

A buyer can split the full purchase into Klarna installments. You are paid for the sale; Klarna carries the plan.

What the buyer pays
$0
extra for choosing installments

The fee is identical on card, Cash App Pay and Klarna — about $39.73 on a $2,000 puppy, whichever they pick.

01

The buyer spreads it; you are paid in full

Klarna settles the purchase and collects the installments from the buyer. The money reaches you as one payment on the sale — you are not waiting on a payment plan or chasing anybody for month three.

02

The buyer is charged the same either way

A buyer picking installments pays exactly what a buyer picking a card pays — on a $2,000 puppy, about $39.73 on both. That is deliberate: a fee that changes with the payment method is a surcharge, and surcharges are capped on credit, barred on debit and illegal outright in four states.

03

Your switch, your call

Financing is off until you turn it on, per kennel. Klarna costs roughly double a card, and that difference comes out of your proceeds rather than the buyer's total — so whether the extra conversion is worth it is genuinely your decision to make.

/ how it works

From your switch to a paid sale.

Four steps, and the only decision that is yours is the first one.

  1. 01

Turn payment plans on for your kennel

One setting. Leave it off and buyers simply see card and Cash App Pay.

  2. 02

    Send the balance request

The buyer gets a link for the full amount, with installments offered alongside the card.

  3. 03

    They choose how to pay

Card, Cash App Pay, or spread over Klarna installments. The fee they see is the same on all three.

  4. 04

You are paid for the sale

Klarna carries the installment risk from there. The hand-off, the contract and the confirmed pickup work exactly as they do on any other sale.
