Stud services

Run stud work like a business, not a favour.

Send the contract, watch it get signed, collect the fee — and find a stud across the KennelBoss breeder network when you need one.

Stud service contracts in KennelBoss with signing and payment status
01

The contract does the chasing

Send the agreement and KennelBoss tracks it: whether the email was delivered, whether it was opened, whether the dam owner has signed, and whether you still owe a countersignature. A stud deal stalling is a thing you find out about rather than discover a month later.

02

Fee and deposit tracked against the dog

The stud fee, the deposit, what has been paid and what is due — attached to the contract and the sire it is for, so a season's stud income is a figure rather than a recollection.

03

A directory of breeders, not a shop window

Search active stud listings across the KennelBoss network by breed, generation or colour. Buyers on pickmepets.com never see it — this one is breeder to breeder, and it is not a marketplace taking a cut of the stud fee.

/ how it works

From listing a sire to a signed, paid stud service.

The sire you have already documented is the listing, the contract, and the record the litter inherits.

  1. 01

    List your sire at stud

From the sire's own profile — the health testing and genotypes already on him are what another breeder wants to see.

  2. 02

Find a stud, or field an enquiry

Filter the network directory by breed, generation or colour, or take the enquiry that arrives about yours.

  3. 03

    Send the stud contract

Terms, fee, and the dam owner's details. It goes out for signature and KennelBoss watches what happens to it.

  4. 04

    Collect the fee and countersign

The dam owner signs and pays; you add your signature. Both copies are filed against the contract.

  5. 05

Breed, and let the litter inherit the record

The resulting litter carries its sire, and his health testing and genetics travel with every puppy in it.

/ questions

Common questions

How do I know whether the dam owner has actually seen the contract?

KennelBoss records whether the signing email was sent and whether it was opened, alongside the signing status. A stalled stud deal is something you notice, not something you discover a month later.

Can I collect the stud fee through KennelBoss?

Yes. The fee and any deposit are tracked against the contract and the sire, with what has been paid and what is still due — so a season's stud income is a figure rather than a recollection.

Who can see the stud directory?

Breeders on KennelBoss, and only them. Buyers on pickmepets.com never see it — it is a breeder-to-breeder directory, not a shop window.

Is there a commission on a stud service?

No. The directory is part of your subscription, and what you agree with the other breeder is between the two of you.

What can I filter the directory by?

Breed, generation and colour, across active listings on the network. You are looking at dogs whose health testing and genetics are already documented in KennelBoss.
