Cycle calendar

Every dam's heat history lives in one view, with an estimated next cycle calculated from her past intervals. You see all your dams at once and can plan stud availability, whelping space, and buyer waitlists weeks in advance — not scrambling when a dam comes into heat unexpectedly.

02

Progesterone logging

Record test dates and progesterone values as they come in from your vet. KennelBoss plots the results over time so you and your vet can identify the LH surge and pinpoint the optimal breeding window together — rather than guessing from a single data point.

03

Breeding date records

Log natural and artificial insemination breeding dates tied to the resulting litter. Every litter in KennelBoss knows its breeding date, expected whelp date, and dam health history — complete traceability for pedigree documentation and health certification.

/ how it works

From dam profile to optimal breeding window.

Four steps to a fully tracked breeding program. Every heat logged, every progesterone value recorded.

  1. 01

    Add your dam's profile

Create a profile for each dam with her breed, date of birth, and any known health clearances.

  2. 02

    Log heat cycle start date

Record the first day of each heat cycle. KennelBoss uses this history to estimate her next cycle automatically.

  3. 03

Record progesterone test results as they come in

Enter test date and ng/mL value after each draw. KennelBoss tracks the progression so you can catch the ovulation window.

  4. 04

KennelBoss highlights the optimal breeding window

Based on progesterone values and cycle history, KennelBoss surfaces the recommended days for breeding so nothing is left to guesswork.

/ questions

Common questions

How does KennelBoss know when a dam is due to cycle?

From her own history. It averages the gaps between her recorded cycles — falling back to 180 days for a dam with no history yet — and emails you about a week before the next one is expected, so a heat is something you planned for rather than noticed.

What do I get after a breeding date is logged?

Milestone alerts on every channel: around day 30 for heartbeat detection, day 58 for the earliest she could whelp, and day 63 for the target due date. Each one links straight to that dam.

Do I have to enter progesterone results in any particular unit?

Enter the date and the ng/mL value your vet gives you. KennelBoss plots the progression so the two of you can read the rise together — it does not replace your vet's call on timing.

Does the guardian home get told as well?

Yes, when a dam lives with a guardian family. The heat prediction goes to them too, so nobody is waiting on a phone call to find out a cycle has started.
