Can I take a deposit standing in the whelping room?
That is what it is for. Open the puppy, choose deposit, reservation, or full sale, and take the payment one-handed on your phone.
What if the buyer wants to pay later from home?
Send them a payment link instead. The puppy is held against that link, and reservations that are never paid for are retired automatically rather than blocking the puppy forever.
Does a sale on my phone show up on the website?
Immediately. The puppy is marked reserved, the listing updates on pickmepets.com, and the money is recorded against that litter for your cost and profit figures.
Do I need a card reader?
No hardware. The buyer pays on their own phone from the link, or you take the card details in the app — nothing to carry, nothing to charge.
